Is the cutting time exact?
No. CutSimply is designed for rough planning, quoting and comparison. Actual cutting time depends on the saw, blade, coolant, feed settings, clamping, material condition, operator and handling.

The early version keeps grades inside practical material groups such as stainless, aluminium and mild steel. This avoids fake precision while still allowing safer rough estimates for different material families.
Yes. Section units and length units are separate. For example, you can enter a 1.75 inch round bar and still optimise 500mm cut lengths from 3000mm stock.
Use calculate bars needed when planning or quoting. Use fixed stock quantity when you already know how many bars are available and want a warning if the job will not fit.
